Hunter /Jumper Day Camp

Stillbrook Riding Stables offers a very unique opportunity
for children wanting to experience the finer points of
showing in Hunter/Jumper classes.
Throughout the year we have specialized camps where we focus
on riding a good line in a hunter class, how to get correct distances
to your fences and how to get correct leads over fences.
Other camps focus on grid work to teach discipline for both horse
and rider.  These exercises teach horses and riders to not rush
fences and remain smooth and consistent during your round.

Riders for the Hunter/Jumper camps may bring their own horse
of use one of our horses.  At Stillbrook Stables our school horses
are very versatile.  They do trails, lessons and are also our show horses.

Riders attending a beginner hunter/jumper camp need to be able to walk/trot and canter comfortably.  Experience over cross rails
is a bonus but not necessary.
Riders attending our advanced hunter/jumper camps need to be capable
of walk/trot/canter and also have a knowledge of leads, and be
comfortable jumping a 2'course.

Dates for these camps will be posted in May.
