Our stable features horses for the beginner rider right through to the advanced rider.
When coming to Stillbrook Riding Stables, you will be asked to fill out a survey
on what you would like to get out of your lessons. We teach children ages 4 and up.

Some people choose riding to build confidence in a timid child
while others have goals to compete in the show jumping circuit.

At Stillbrook Stables we tailor our lessons to meet your needs.
Safety is of utmost importance, having fun is second and learning is third.
You can't learn without the first two!

We also offer lessons in harnessing and driving a single horse or light team. 

Lessons are taught in the indoor arena or in the outside sand ring.
Occasionally the lesson is taught as we ride along  200 acres of trails.
Riders will then experience all kinds of riding instead
of just the traditional arena lessons.

Cost of Lessons for regular riders are:

Private One hour Lesson $35.00

Semi Private (two) $30.00

Group One hour Lesson $25.00

We are developing a new certificate program for our students. This way riders are rewarded and encouraged to achieve different levels of certificates as they increase their riding skills and their knowledge of the horse and horse industry. The new "Stillbrook Levels of Riding Program" will be posted to the web site soon. Regular riding lessons will help you develop the riding skills necessary for the different levels and classes will be held in our educational centre on topics needed to complete the requirements for the different levels. Passing a riding test and short practical and written test will be needed to achieve each certificate. Many of our students will be able to pass several levels of the program when we implement this in the spring of 2008.  For new students, it will give you a wonderful guideline of riding skills and knowledge of horses that you will be working towards.

 ***2008 STILLBROOK DRILL TEAM***

Our Drill team or musical ride team has been having two drill team lessons a month focusing on learning how to ride synchronized patterns.  I have done hours of planning on a musical ride or drill team performance and this year we are putting it all together. We have been running musical ride camps in the past where we learn patterns and perform our ride at the end of the day for the parents.  The patterns we have put together in one day have been incredible but now have developed a more technical routine during our regular drill lessons.   Stillbrook Drill Team riders match with horses tacked up with same saddle cloths, polo's, outfits etc. supplied by our stable. For more information on the drill team or to book the drill team for your event please call: 705-295-4538
